Today in Bonn will held the first of a tree days meeting regardingthe UNNCD-Science Policy Interface (SPI), composed by 25 twenty-five scientists and decision-making experts that will work for the next two years to provide guidance on the implementation of the Convention based on the best interdisciplinary scientific knowledge. The SPI is compsed by 15 independent scientists, 5 representatives of important organization, 5 elected CST Bureau members (science-focused policy makers), that include an Ispra expert as representation of EU / WEOG (Western European and Others Group) countries.
