The workshop dedicated to the LIFE Monza project will be held on 11 February, as a conclusion of the experience started in the Libertà district where an experimental area with reduced noise emissions has been organized.
The European Life Monza project has set the target of identifying both top-down and bottom-up actions, combined with each other in such a way as to produce measurable effects, in order to identify a method that can be replicated in other contexts.
The top-down interventions carried out concerned the laying of asphalt with low noise emission, the building of an area forbidden to the transit of heavy vehicles and the construction of two staggered pedestrian crossings.
The interventions have the objective to reduce noise emissions from vehicular traffic, together with the other actions included within the Life Monza project.
