The initiatives is carried out in the whole of the Harmony project funded by P.O Italy-Malta 2014, which the objectives is he protection of marine biodiversity by assessing seabed integrity and the presence of nonindigenous species (NIS) in the Italo-Maltese cross-border area, promoting the development of coordinated strategies and shared decision making processes.

The event represents the continuation of the participatory path of which 5 presence meetings have already been held in Italy and Malta and is part of the series of remote online events scheduled for autumn 2020, in compliance with the government guidelines for the fight against the Covid19 Pandemic.
In particular, the types of actions that will be discussed refer to monitoring and / or research programs and educational programs.
