City Nature Challenge
The City Nature Challenge (CNC), started in 2016, is a is an annual four-day global bioblitz at the end of April, where cities are in a collaboration-meets-friendly-competition to see observations of nature, find the most species. All the cities included in the challenge can register on an application, Natusfera o Inaturalist, the most number of naturalistic observation observed in their cities

This year more than 350 cities around the World will take part of the "data collection on biodiversity"
Il Cluster Biodiversity Italy will partecipate at the CNC 2021 with 16 cities and 16 bodies.
The initiative has the patronage of : Ministero Transizione Ecologica; ISPRA; SNPA; Federparchi-Europarc; ENEA; Marevivo; WWF Italia e WWF Young Italy; Aigae (Associazione Italiana Guide Ambientali Escursionistiche); AFNI (Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani); San Marino Green Festival; Locus a.p.s.; Parco naturale regionale Dune Costiere da Torre Canne a Torre San Leonardo.
