World Soil Day
World Soil Day is celebrated on 5 December, an anniversary established since 2014 by the UN food agency, the FAO. The theme of this edition is "Stops soil salinization, increases soil productivity". The 2021 campaign aims to focus on the importance of maintaining healthy ecosystems and human well-being by addressing growing challenges in soil management, fighting soil salinization, increasing soil awareness and encouraging societies to improve soil health.
