The starting point came from the Horizon2020 "CoCliCo" research project, of which ENEA and Federlogistica are partners and for which UniSalento is scientific consultant, and from the recent restoration, by ISPRA, of the National Ondametric Network with the launch, at the beginning of 2021, of 7 new buoys, in regular operation for more than a year, off the coast of La Spezia, Alghero, Ponza, Mazara del Vallo, Crotone, Monopoli and Ancona
