Climate change us and them: ISPRA participates in Eu Green Week 2023 with a partner event

Also this year ISPRA will participate in the initiative with a Partner event. The ISPRA course for Soft Skills and Guidance (PCTO) "Climate change us and them: we are the problem and the solution" was selected by the European Commission for its qualitative characteristics and content in line with the messages and policies of European communication. The topic of this 2023 edition, the European Year of Skills, is "skills for sustainable, resilient and socially right communities in the context of the European Green Deal".
At the conclusion of the training course on climate change launched by ISPRA with the schools of Carducci - Volta - Pacinotti in Piombino in recent months, some students will continue with an in-depth study of flora, fauna and chemistry of the sea. The students will examine together with our experts the various causes that cause climate change, identifying themselves in the various roles of scientist, economic actor, citizen, administrator and simulating the effects on the environment of the choices made in the various roles.
The central topic of the training course is how climate change is generated but also how it can be contained, in a circular system in which actions and effects influence each other.
The partner event of the EU Green Week 2023 "Climate change us and them: we are the problem and the solution" will take place at the ISPRA headquarters in Livorno from 5 to 9 June 2023 with a final event in which the ISPRA President and the Assessor for the Environment of the municipality of Livorno will close the event.
