The first National Conference of Operational Oceanography in Genoa
ISPRA is among the 8 members of the Council of the Operational Oceanography National Group (GNOO)

The First National Conference of Operational Oceanography,
organized by the National Group of Operational Oceanography in
coincidence with the Occean World Day on June 8, 9 and 10 will be
host in the halls of the Aquarium and the Museum of the Sea in
Genoa.
The National Group of Operational Oceanography (GNOO) relating to
the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, operating
since 2003 in support of the national marine monitoring and
forecasting activities. The GNOO has 8 members who are part of the
College in which the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea
partecipates as the first funding institution: INGV, CNR, Navy
Hydrographic Institute, Air Force, ARPA-EMR, CONISMA, ENEA, OGS and
soon ISPRA.
