Record year for the Ecolabel
2009 counts over 10.000 products and services certified
February 8 The year 2009 was a record year for the European Ecolabel: the number of certified products and services grew by 166%, from 3822 in 2008 to 10,169 in 2009. "Tourist accommodation services" is still the category with the largest number of certificated products in Italy, with 199 licenses, followed by the" Multipurpose cleaning products", " Health services products" (22) and "Camping products"(17) categories. While the group of "hard floor coverings" has the largest number of certified products (7,392) followed by "Fabrics for papers" (670) and "Textiles" (661).
