Cagliari, 3 - 7 October The IWWG - International Waste Working Group - in association with the University of Padua, the Nanyang Technological University, Tongji University, the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo", the Fukuoka University of Central Florida and the Technical University of Denmark, organized "Sardinia 2011 - Thirteenth International Symposium on Waste Management and on Controlled Waste" to be held in Cagliari from 3 to 7 October 2011. The international symposium "Sardinia" were established with the aim of encouraging the dissemination of ideas and experiences on the controlled waste to the engineering community and the scientific world. They have become a major international forum in which leading experts in the field present their experiences and research activities and discuss new concepts and technologies in the management of waste and controlled waste.
