Riccione, June 8 Micor (acronym for Morphological Impacts and Risks COastal induced by Extreme storm events) is a research project funded under the 7th Framework Programme and aimed at studying the impact of storms on the coasts, integrating meteorology, geomorphology, coastal engineering and impact socio-economic development. The main purpose of this study was to develop an online tool for the prediction of morphological impacts generated by storms at sea.
