Published ISPRA Report 2011 : waste production still decreasing

Rome, 7 July Even less municipal waste in Italy: the value drops by 1% of national production coming between 2008 and 2009 to 32.1 million tons (about 32.5 million tons in 2008). Also decreases the waste production per capita:  during the same period every person has produced about 9 kg less per year (about 1, 6% less), for a total of about 532 kg per capita.
