Monitoring bedload and debris flows in mountain basins - Bolzano, 10-12 October
The quantification of the flow of sediment into mountain waterways has made considerable progress in the last two decades. However, the relevance of these processes in understanding the dynamics of morphological and ecological river systems and the analysis of the dangers of flooding and for the design of defense structures / control in urgent need refinement in monitoring techniques.
This international workshop will bring together researchers in the field of monitoring of sediment, technicians, professionals and public agencies interested in learning the state of art and possible future developments.
