Published the "Atlas of benthic diatoms of the Italian water streams"

The database "On line Atlas of benthic diatoms of the Italian water streams" was created with the aim of making the Atlas accessible and usable by the experts working for ARPA / APPA, ecologists, taxonomists, students, managers of water resources, general public. Its main objective is sharing, comparing and updating contents through a participatory process. It is an ongoing project that will be enriched and improved thanks to a wide cooperation, particularly of those persons involved in the monitoring of water, that can directly benefit from browsing the site.
