Stefano Laporta at the plenary session of the EPA

From April 24 to 25 the ISPRA General Director mr. Stefano Laporta participated in the plenary session of the EPA (Environment Protection Agencies) network, the network which brings together the general heads of national agencies for the protection Environment or equivalent public bodies in Europe. In Vienna were presented and discussed the work of interest groups, which ISPRA actively involved with their experts : Better Regulation,Carbon Capture and Storage,Climate Change and Adaptation, Sustainable use of Natural Resources, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), Noise abatement,Citizen Science , Environmental Liabilities .
The main target of the network is to promote the exchange of views and cooperation on environmental issues considered a priority for the participating organizations : the implementation of environmental policies, the assessment of the state of the environment, the strengthen of the scientific basis for decision-making.
The EPA network established in 2003, has gradually expanded to include the leaders of environmental agencies in 33 countries,
