European project HIA21
Treatment of urban waste: the European project HIA21 (Health Impact Assessment with Local Agenda 21 methodology) came to an end. It shows a new approach to participatory evaluation of health, environmental and socio-economic impacts and develops a model that shows that the involvement of the populations can improve local management policies for health and the environment.
