New genetic improvement techniques in agriculture
Last 22 february it was held in Rome the seminar about the New Breeding Techniques - NBT in agriculture. An Ispra expert partecipated to the event. These techniques, based on the latest advances in biotechnology and molecular biology, and their possible uses in agriculture are at the center of a debate in the European Union and in the world, in particular regarding their regulation.
