Copernicus and territory monitoring : workshop with EEA

The meetings organized by the Copernicus National Users Forum at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Rome are still working. The appointment scheduled for May is with the European Environment Agency (EEA). In addition to being responsible for the development of the in-situ component of Copernicus, the Agency is among the coordinators of the Land Monitoring Service, one of the six main services provided by the Program. The Copernicus Land Service offers an effective support for territorial planning, forest management and water resources, agriculture and sustainable exploitation of ecosystem services.
