Zoonoses are infections or transmissible diseases between animals and humans, by contact with infected animals or consumption of contaminated food. Configuring as a risk from biological agents, the health protection of workers exposed is regulated by Title X of Legislative Decree 81/2008. The workshop, that is organized by INAIL (Department of Medicine, Epidemiology, Work and Environmental Hygiene) as part of the "Ambiente Lavoro 2018" exhibition, aims to make a point about the problematic prevention and management in the field of human and animal health. During the workshop, ISPRA experts will be involved in a presentation entitled "Emerging Zoonoses in the Anthropocene: new opportunities for pathogens in a changing world".
