A useful tool for anti-CO2 policies

“Applying the IPCC GPG for LULUCF approaches for assessing changes in carbon stocks and emissions of green-house gas for Harvested Wood Products in Italy”

A study of the ISPRA (Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale) Department of Defense of Nature, has estimated the amount of carbon fixed in wood products (carbon stocks), as well as the balance between emissions and absorption (carbon sink or carbon source) over the years.
The study, written in English, entitled  “Applying the IPCC GPG for LULUCF approaches for assessing changes in carbon stocks and emissions of green-house gas for Harvested Wood Products in Italy”,  realized in the frame of ISPRA-MATTM Convention for the national registry of greenhouse gas emissions, is - the authors Susanne Kloehn and Lorenzo Ciccarese say - a useful tool both for policy makers called to activate anti-CO2 policies and for employers in the manufacturing and industrial sectors (wood, furniture, waste, energy, construction, etc.) involved on matters treated by the survey.
