In this section it is possible to consult and download data and indicators relating to the state, variations and trends of the climate in Italy, processed within the National System for the collection, processing and dissemination of SCIA climate data and accessed via WebGIS. the consultation on the Italian territory of data and indicators on the climate of the last 50 years.
Drought bulletin
Quantitative monitoring of drought conditions in Italy and in Europe, shown by means of maps, updated monthly, through the Standardized Precipitation Index, a climatological index commonly used to quantify the relative scarcity or abundance of rainfall. Maps are available for four areas (Italy, Mediterranean, Europe and CADSES area), from December 1989 to the present, defined according to four scales (quarterly, half-yearly, annual and biennial).
