Coordination actions towards Europe involve the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), for what concerns the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), and the European Environment Agency (EEA), for the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS), through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding and specific national initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at interaction between the institutional user communities and the agencies managing the Copernicus Programme Services, and are coordinated by ISPRA, also in its capacity as technical secretary of the FNUC.

Among the promotional actions is the SpazioCulturale Hackathon, a laboratory in the form of an ideas competition, organized by ECMWF, FNUC and ISPRA, with the support and sponsorship of the Horizon SD-WISHEES project and e-Geos and Planetek Italia. The aim of the Hackathon is to bring together young talents with different skills at the ECMWF Data Center in the Bologna Technology Park on 9-11 May 2025, to promote innovation in the sector of cultural heritage, air quality and climate change, creating a valid idea as a project starting point based on the use of Earth observation data and products available from the C3S and CAMS Services
