AquaticPollutants

Within the framework of AquaticPollutants the Joint Programm Initiatives (JPIs) on Water, Oceans and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) are working closely together. The ERA-NET Cofund project AquaticPollutants responds to the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5 SC 5 21-2019-2020: Risks posed to human health and the environment by pollutants and pathogens present in water resources. The overall goal of the ERA-NET Cofund AquaticPollutants is to strengthen the European Research Area (ERA) in the field of clean and healthy aquatic ecosystems and to leverage untapped potential in the collaboration between the freshwater, marine and health research areas. The ERA-NET Cofund AquaticPollutants is a network of 32 ministries, authorities and funding organizations responsible for funding research and innovation projects in the field of clean and healthy aquatic ecosystems from 26 countries. A multidisciplinary approach has been set up, which brings together the research needs of the freshwater sector, the marine sector and the health sector to carry out a Joint Transnational Call (JTC) and complementing Additional Activities. ISPRA is involved in the Additional Activities.
