Call for Experts: Contribution to the Water4All’s strategic agenda update Applications Open Until December 3, 2024
The Water4All Partnership, co-funded by the EU under the Horizon Europe program, has launched a call for experts in various strategic fields related to water security. The goal is to support the update of Water4All’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the document that guides necessary actions and investments to address Europe’s water challenges, first published in 2022. The SRIA is a dynamic report that evolves in response to emerging environmental, socio-economic, and political changes, taking into account the perspectives of various stakeholders in water research and innovation.
The SRIA will be updated by the end of 2025, midway through the Water4All program. For this updated version, the Water4All partnership aims to prioritize the identified knowledge gaps to better understand specific areas where urgent action is recommended to ensure water access for all.
Selected experts will join one of five working groups (each with a maximum of seven experts) to discuss the following five scientific themes addressed in the SRIA:
- Water for the Circular Economy: smart water value
- Water for Ecosystems and Biodiversity
- Water for the future: Sustainable Water Management
- Water and Health
- Infrastructures for water
Participants will be asked to analyze various information sources to identify knowledge gaps in water research, critically review research and innovation priorities, attend a two-day event in Paris (April 3-4, 2025), and contribute to the final report.
The application deadline to join the Water4All expert network is December 3, 2024, and applicants must complete the form
