Guidelines for the assessment of river macrobenthic component according to DM 260/2010

The “Guidelines for the assessment of river macrobenthic component according to DM 260/2010 o DM 260/2010” addresses the process of classification of ecological status of river water bodies (sensu WFD) for what refers to river benthic invertebrates.The document collects and harmonizes into one guideline all the relevant available documents ,written since the enforcement of WFD in Italy. The so obtained procedure for macroinvertebrates assessment ranges from field protocol for sampling to the classification of this ecological quality element.
