Guidelines for the monitoring of road infrastructure noise

The Guideline indicates the general criteria to plan and carry out noise monitoring from road transport infrastructures. The document is aimed primarily at managers of road infrastructure, but can provide valuable support to the Techical Commission VIA/VAS (National and Regional) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of a monitoring system, as required in the Environmental Monitoring Project, and to verify the effectiveness of mitigation measures implemented and/or verify compliance with any requirements of EIA.
