Handbook for marine sediments handling

The handbook, realized by APAT and ICRAM on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, addresses problems related to the handling of sediments in coastal marine areas, with particular reference to port dredging, beach nourishment in coastal areas subject to erosion, immersion of material coming from excavation, developing the technical aspects related to the specific subject. The handbook is the result of a complex and careful analysis of technical and scientific publications, specific legislation in force and experiences of ICRAM and APAT. It is a reference for testing methods and nationally shared criteria.
