Bioindicators and ecotoxicology: synthesis and proceedings of 2008-2009 workshops

This publication is a review of the presentations given in four workshops that ISPRA (formerly APAT) organised in 2008-2009. Focus of these meetings was the assessment of bioindicators and ecotoxicology on soil, water, and air. Final aim was to discuss and share methods and assess implementations and gaps within current Italian legislation. This, to propose a normative update and to set up protocol standardisation in order to improve environmental controls and monitoring.
