The role of women in the earth sciences. Comparing experiences and future prospects

This publication collects the presentations given in the Workshop organized by ISPRA and the Order of Geologists of Lazio . The workshop focuses on the contribution made by women in the Earth Sciences. Through the story of the personal experiences and strategies adopted, even at the international level, we tried to analyze and overcome the cultural prejudices that are often at the root of discrimination against female professionals. Possible actions for the future were shared and discussed in order to improve the condition of equal opportunities and equal responsibilities.
