3840 emissioni benzene.jpg

For about ten years, benzene has been considered to be a pollutant of priority interest. As such it must be kept under control, due to the effects it produces on the health of the population. The data in this report shows a decrease in emissions from 1990 to 2000, especially with regards to road traffic. It therefore provides a useful contribution to environmental policies dealing with atmospheric pollution.
