Mapping of major-accident hazards in Italy - 2013 Edition

This report includes the results of the institutional activities carried out by ISPRA and MATTM in order to set up and to update a map of the major-accidents hazards (MAH) related to industrial establishments located all over Italy. The report follows the three previous editions published by ISPRA in 2000, 2002 and 2007. The 2013 Edition has been enriched with a specific appendix containing information about the seismic hazard associated with MAH establishments and the assessment of the potential impact on surface water bodies caused by the presence of eco-toxic substances and liquid hydrocarbons held in  Seveso establishments.
