Waste Report 2007
The report, now in its tenth edition, is the result of a complex APAT activity of collecting, analyzing and processing data, which confirmed the Agency's commitment to ensure that information and knowledge relating to an important sector such as the waste is available to all. The report is the result of a methodology foranalysis of data that, over time, has allowed the construction of a national waste information system which is an institutional point of reference among the most advanced in Europe and has established a series of data, such as to allow verification of the implementation of environmental legislation and its effectiveness. This publication is the result of the work of qualified professionals, will provide a framework of objective, accurate and updated in a position to guide policies and appropriate actions to actually track the effectiveness of interventions and the achievement of objectives, establishing whether necessary corrective measures.
