Urban Environmental Quality 2010 – VII Edition - Focus on air quality
Legislative Decree of 13 August 2010, n. 155 entered into force on 30 September 2010. It provides the implementation of Directive 2008/50/EC on air quality for a cleaner air in Europe. The decree calls on all institutions involved in a collective effort to achieve a higher level of efficiency, consistency and comparability in the performance of their activities, overcoming the limitations related to the heterogeneity of the different local realities. In view of the importance and urgency of deadlines related to the implementation of the Legislative Decree 155/2010, this publication coming with ISPRA's VII Report on Urban Environmental Quality in this edition focuses directly on the issues of air quality, with particular reference to the initiatives taken in this field by the nvironmental agencies system, in particular with regard to the characterization of air pollution in Italy.
