Days of Geology and History IIº cycle

Volume 110 of the Descriptive Memoirs of the Geological Map of Italy collects some contributions presented in the second Cycle of Geology and History Days, which took place from December 2021 to December 2022.
These study days were organized to ignite a focus on multidisciplinary studies concerning geological and historical-archaeological topics. The topics discussed in these first four meetings of the second cycle were the Ghost Cities (the villages abandoned in Italy due to natural causes), large urban areas, popular traditions and natural hazards, historical sources in the study of climate variations, major natural events that have changed the course of history and the evolution of coastal areas
