This volume contains the illustrative note of the Geological Map of Sicily at 1:250,000 scale and deals with the stratigraphic and structural characters of the Island.
The new geological map of Sicily is published after 128 years from the first and only official edition to the existing regional scale realized by Baldacci, with the first volume of the Memorie Descrittive della Carta geologica d’Italia in 1886.
