It is a two volumes guide contained in a box, which provides an approach integrated to regional geology and to the genesis of Sulcis-Iglesiente deposits. The first volume concerns the stratigraphy, sedimentology and metallogenic implications of Lower Palaeozoic of south-west Sardinia, the second one gives information about recommended visits to particular locations in relation to the issues discussed in the first volume.
The envelope in the back cover contains anastatic reproductions of geological maps of the studied area previously published.
